I was unable to take my final examinations, what are the steps to be taken for special consideration to be extended to me?

Kindly note, according to The UWI regulations, when students register at the beginning of a Semester for any course, they are at the same time registering to be examined for that course. If they stop attending the course and do not officially withdraw, a final grade of FA (Failed/Absent) will be assigned which will have a negative impact on GPA. However, if a student has documented, extenuating circumstances, a petition may be submitted for the attention of the Academic Board Sub-Committee on Student Matters. This may be done via email to [email protected]. To assist the process, please ensure to attach any supporting documentation you may have to allow the Committee to make an informed decision when considering the case.
